Just awful what a couple of oxygen thieves can do to a work of art when they are clueless as to what the F**K is going on inside that beast....
I guess it actually could have been a catastrophic mess creating ash trays and end tables, but still sucks.
Hope the re-do goes as planned.............

Update
Massive down size at work with over half of the work force leaving in the near future. Wasn't in the area of the business that I work in but it does make me a more reluctant to continue with the TA's repairs as expenses increase.
Norris Motorsports estimated $4200 to remove and repair engine including two pistons. I have to order and supply new cam, oil pump and some other items.
Heads are at Reher-Morrison waiting to be repaired.
If the heads are damaged bad enough to require replacement, the old LS1 will go back in the TA most likely.

Brief update.
Decided to accept an offer that was made on my 91 RS Camaro Convertible. So I'm selling Black Echo and won't be doing an LS swap for the car. It was an outstanding offer a bit over Hagerty book value for the car's condition.
Slowly making process with the engine repair and rebuild.
Reher-Morrison completed repairing the cylinder heads. The heads cost $1,000 to fix. I'm very happy both could be repaired. The cam is on order. Reher-Morrison has been excellent both before purchasing the heads and afterwards.

My two 91 Camaro' s...
The black convertible went to a good home and will eventually get an LS swap.
The new owner intends to finish the restoration with a new interior.
Car shows are in the future for Black Echo.
Norris Motorsports has the short block ready. I just have to collect a few more parts like cam and lifters and should be well on the way to getting TA back together.

Ordering the last batch of parts from WS6 Store today.
LS7 lifters
New oil pump
New rocker stands
New WS6/RPM Speed upgraded LS3 rockers - the old rockers are probably OK, I'm just not willing to risk it.
And maybe a few odds and ends
Unfortunately with the uncertainty of work, the solid roller cam and dual exhaust will have to wait until another time.

Brief update.
Decided to change the exhaust. The TA has a Kook's y pipe, 3 inch cut out, SLP Dual / Dual exhaust.
I just couldn't talk myself into the Kook's 3 inch true dual set up because of cost and ground clearance concerns on my lowered TA. The Kook's set up is fantastic being good to ~ 1200 hp. I decided to go with the Holley Black Heart 2.5 inch true dual exhaust set up.
