Default MS3 LSX Plug n Play Gold Box

Hey Gents,
Finally decided to do the right thing and instead of going the Microsquirt route, i went with the Megasquirt 3 LSX plug n play gold box from EFI Source. Im actually really excited to get it hooked up to the motor and start playing with the features. I do however have a question regarding the initial tune to get the motor started. From what ive read online and watched on YouTube, i see that there are factory setting available to load. But my motor is FAR from factory and would like to know where do i go to get a head start on what kind of tune will be required for start up and idle. Since im using such large injectors with a low base pressure, im assuming that my idle will be a bit difficult to tune without assistance. Tell me what other information you need from my build to point me in the right direction.

4.8 bottom end
Ported heads
LJMS turbo cam
210lbs HiZ Injectors running E85
S480 t6 turbo

Any guidance is useful so please feel free to comment or PM me
Thank you!
OX

Download a base tune from one of the guys using those injectors on a different size engine.

Change the required fuel setting or scale the entire VE table for your smaller engine.
Done. You're not doing anything out of the box.

Denmah and some of the guys on the sloppy mechanics pages have shared their tunes. Those injectors are becoming more and more common.

The guys at EFI Source are great to deal with. Have you talked to them yet?

Have not, but i suppose i could. In reality the main reason i never considered it is because i had no idea what to ask and if they would give that info for free lol

Interested to see how you make out. I also have megasquirt gold, and considering the 210 injectors.

I got on the sloppy mechanics tuner cabinet and was able to download denmahs 210 lb injector 6.0 Colorado tune. so now I just need to find a VE table for my 4.8

Ve table isn't something like injector data where you can just copy and paste. You can use denmahs ve as a base and then tune from there. Your gonna have to log and tune the ve table yourself or have a tuner do it.

I just tuned an MS3 gold on an LSx and I am pretty sure it came with a base-line to get the engine started. The more I think about it the more I am sure, when I showed up to the car, it would already start and idle before I had even done anything.

IT was wayyy off of course. But all the trigger wheel and ignition/dwell was apparently correct.
