And I'm not rich hell I can't even do what I'm trained for in Aircraft or as a Surgical tech from HCC state certified. Getting in too too much trouble in my past LOL. A few assaults on a peace officer and gun charges will do that to you LOL! But I do own my own company that I just started 2 months ago. Who has 30 to 40k to waste on something that loses value. It's not a new car that can be used everyday running a spool. LOL!

People act like I ain't ready to be thru. I'm just the avg guy. That has everything to bake the cake to go out and do what I'm asking. On the 1st try. I know and see what others have done or doing.

How much do you think it cost to have the engine done- transmission with stall, chassis work cost and start off with just a block and a truck that's been tooken off the frame cleaned and painted by me because of rust. Re wiring and some of the best parts cost. Do the math. Lifters are 1000 alone go to the trans 4k. Stall $900 etc....other stall for the future is 2k 4l80 doesn't have a 8 inch converter.

You guys didn't listen to Tim when he said cost, most just looked at the hp and times he ran with the 416 then 454 with Ls3 heads in the GreyHatchback. Tim told me A long time ago to convert his engine over to Ls7 head would cost at minimum 5k. I always ask those who've done what I'm asking for so I get Facts and not a pitch as everyone out to make $. Which is not bad in itself.

I've dropped 30 on my TA. There's guys in here have dropped twice as much or even more.

Trust me I know Darth. Thing is just don't give up on ones self or the build. I think some don't understand I have what's needed to get what I want. 740 to 800+ depending on heads and cam. I can swap. Just with a junkyard lq4 block. I have the stuff to bake the cake.

4l80e says it all with OD one of the best trans you can start off with and great parts. I have a spare also...I think the same thing of you and your 445 cid engine. Underachiever is what's thought. Hell my 408 may make more than either way you build yours.You need more RPM. This ain't no pissing contest. I just put out there what I did and see.

My 4l80e trans stall Cost 850+ tax for a single disc 4k stall from Chris at Circle D. I still need a 8 inch or 230's mm converter = 6800 multi-disc stall. For the other combo. Your combo should run 8s with out Nos 7's with it. That's on a 3300 to 3100 pound car. 5's in the 8th mile without changing heads just more RPM & intake change with A solid. Maybe a higher gear depending on what you starting of with. Coleman ran a 402 and a 3400 lbs Camaro to 9's which equals to 5's.
