Default DOD/AFM delete help

i have a 2013 Silverado 5.3 LMG. I have no idea which delete kit to go with. On top of that I would like a higher performance cam but still low lift so I don't have to rebuild the heads. Input?

Call WS6store, a sponsor on here. They will get you all lined out, and with good prices.

Second on WS6 store....Texas Speed has a kit as well. I've got the front of my 06 Envoy tore apart right now troubleshooting a low oil pressure issue (found pickup tube o-ring split) and i'm trying to decide to pull the trigger on the DOD delete or not. Been doing the research as well. Good Luck

i took a minute and went to the ws6 website. All they offer is the seal and lifter kit. What is a nice low lift performance cam for the money? And the Texas speed sight, for some reason it gives me 3 different cam options but I can't even read what they are.....

Call them up. Their website is a bit awkward to navigate, and doesn't show everything they have. They DO have what you need. Are you going online with a phone or computer?

Turn your phone sideways and click on each option. It pulls up that way.

PM tech@WS6store, he'll steer you straight. I got all my DoD/AFM delete stuff from the WS6store. He did a good job of getting me everything I needed when I did mine.

I just reread your post...I went with TSP's Stage 3 truck cam. I used PAC 1218's. Didn't touch the heads...

TSP's truck cams, except for the smallest one, give you a choice of either .550 or .600 lift. Neither requires rebuilding your heads, just a good set of springs (PAC 1218's work great)

Our DOD/AFM delete kit coupled with our Budget Cam Kit will square you away with most everything needed for a full install on something small.

https://vengeanceracing.net/1999-tra...t-cam-kit.html

Our VRX1 camshaft (220/220 .581/.581 114+4) actually works very well with the spring/pushrod combo we offer in the budget kit to keep a near-stock sound with a bump in performance.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

All of Brian Tooley's truck cams will work with LS6 springs (cheap). All you really need to delete AFM/DOD is 8 standard lifters and a non DOD cam (stock) or an aftermarket cam and springs and of course the PCM tune changed. I work with a machine shop here that does about 10 DOD deletes a month and all they change is the cam to a stock non DOD 5.3 cam and lifters. They don't change the valley cover unless the truck is having a low oil pressure issue.
