By the way, noticed you're running 2" primaries.

How much of a pain is it to change spark plugs with the larger primaries? Even with 1 7/8th's, I have a hard time grabbing on to them on a 4th gen f body.. Couldn't imagine doing it on 2 inchers

Just seeing this guys. Been on a 5500 mile road trip with the family, and I was only able to jump on Tech for a few minutes each night.
Car runs strong, but needs street tuning. Mike at Vengeance did a decent job at a WOT tune with a makeshift clamp-on wideband, but we both know there’s more there. A lot more. My problem is that I’m just busy. That and it rained here in the southeast for 6 months straight. Was raining on dyno day last August, and I’m not doing that again. I have talked to Darth about street tuning it for me, and I’m hoping to be able to hook up with him this summer.

It will vary according to the header manufacturer. Mine are ARH and are made very well. I can change the plugs on this car in 20 minutes without issue. Takes me longer to gap them, than to actually change them. They fit great! Prolly more room under the hood of a Chevelle than your 4th gen for fairness sake though.

Mast Motorsports Gen3. It’s easy to use, I’m just not a tuner. I’m a tinkerer in that department. I know enough to be dangerous.

Thanks. Did this more do for documentation purposes for me than anything. It’s easier for me write everything here, than in a notebook like we did back in the day. If I need to know what I did for any clearance, it’s right here. I’m 48 next month so I’m not as much into the electronics as today’s youngsters...but I’m getting there. I just bought a GoPro to record my sons baseball games. He showed me how I can mount the camera in the Chevelle, so there will be video coming. I’ve had a few guys wanting to hear the car running with my exhaust setup, so I’ll get some video up, if it ever quits raining here in N. Ga.

Good build.
Torque is very flat all the way to 6500 before it falls off.
What were the cam specs for this monster?

Yes, but not sure how much more. Car runs a lot stronger since street tuned. Need to rent a dyno and work on WOT a little more but it’s pretty close now. Just have to find some time. Been a very busy year, even with the pandemic going on.

Meh. Car sits in shop up on lift. I drove it in May, and to church once this summer. Did an oil change a few weeks ago, oil hadn’t been changed since June 2020. Just really busy with work and life stuff. Hopefully get it out this fall and enjoy it. Honestly been thinking about selling it with the way the market is right now. I unloaded my C1500 recently that I’d had since ‘90 and did pretty well…idk. Car is a blast and attracts a crowd everywhere I take it.

Yeah... tough call with a seller's market and a really salable car.... that you still REALLY dig. I would keep it until something better comes along. Seller regrets can weigh heavy...
