GM racing lifters vs LS7 lifters

Hi Guys, I can get a new set of GM racing lifters at sensible money here in the U.K., I have LS7 already, which have been fine.
Are they any better?

Ceramic check ball vs a steel check ball in LS7, I believe that is the only difference.
