Gen IV Stock Rod Dimensions Are gen IV stock rods 6.098 with .945 wrist pin? Rebuilding the bottom end of my LQ4 and I know stock gen IV rods will be sufficient enough for the power levels I'm after but just need to make sure on the wrist pin size so I get the correct pistons. |
Yes. They also have a floating wrist pin, not press fit like older Gen III's. |

Gen. 4 full floating rods use a .9431 pin. You can hone the Gen. 4 bushed rod for use with the .945 (.9449) pin. |
