Yeah I personally believe a big cube motor will make torque whether you want it to or not. Just build for power.

How about GM CNC LS3 (276 CCs) VS AFR (260 CC),TFS (255 CC), or MAST Mid Bore (255 CC) LS3 Heads?
Just to name 3.

And these are aftermarket heads. I've seen where the TSP(PRC) CNC LS3 head at about 269 CC out flows the GM CNC. It's the path, not the volume....

I can send my LS3 heads to Frankenstein for the 1.5 program to make them 288cc on the intake runner and it will make more power than any head in this thread. Y'all guys just a bunch of haters. Always hating cause i know what im talking about.

I was only running mid 10.80's with the LS3 intake and off the shelf stroker cam. I switched to the mid runner intake and a custom cam motion cam and went 10.42. My #1 problem now is getting all this power to the ground which i suspect the custom powerglide will solve, because my starting line ratio is ridiculous as it is.
thats interesting. I have a buddy with a 416 with ported heads and a big Cam and it’s shitting the bed after 5800 as well. Has stock ls3 intake

I think the piston speed of my stroker is just to high for the LS3 intake to keep up with the air demands.

According to the interwebz, it should be about on-par with an Olds 350 diesel.
