Default What aftermarket pistons fit LS2 block and Gen V LT4 rods???

I have a LS2 block and crank, and i just picked up a set of Gen V LT4 rods for cheap. I read on several pages that they are the same basic thing as Gen 4 rods, and actually pretty beefcake. What aftermarket pistons and pins fit these rods? Anyone know?

I was told the piston needs the angled pin bore since the rod has an angled pin bore. If they wont work its no biggie ill throw them on ebay.

I would bet someone at WS6store would know, or know someone who does.

WS6store responded. The only company that responded with a 'yes'. All others said they didn't know or didn't have anything in stock. At least not anything in stock that is much better than stock parts.

However, they were sure to point out that they are still a new rod and dont have much bearing support. Undersized/oversized bearings are non existent right now. And standard bearings are expensive.

They do have pistons that will work however. So if you have some Gen V rods, just shoot them an email and they will set you up!

I will just get an aftermarket rod and be done with it.

Its cool that maybe one day these Gen V rods will be a cheap option, since they are the same measurements as gen III and IV
