Advancing/retarding cam for boost, suggestions? Hey guys
I'm doing an lq4 with 4th gen internals. The cars got l92 heads, ls3 intake, 94mm throttle body, 7875 (hoping for 600whp). Manual trans, 3:08 rear gear and 3400lbs.
Cam is a texas speed 225/230/112. My question is I'm looking into a timing set and I'm seeing all of these adjustable cam gears. Would it make any sense for me to either advance or retard this cam for my application?
