New to ls1's suggestions

New to the ls world, I have a 99 ls1 gen4 out of a Chevy 1500 truck, I'm swapping it into my 98 k1500 4wd, trying to go reliable turbo build as daily and work truck, putting all new rod bearings, main bearings, rod bolts and main bolts and new head gaskets and head studs all arp, need help to make sure I'm getting the right stuff, and trying to decide what headgaskets to run, tips?? Suggestions???

Its neither a gen 4 engine nor an LS1.

Head gaskets will depend on which engine it is. If its a 5.3, just run new gen 4 5.3 gaskets.
If its a 6.0, consider LS9 gaskets.

Gen 4 small blocks didn't start until 2005 in cars and 2008 in trucks.

I'll go back through the steps and double check on what gen it is

I would just get new style 5.3 OEM head gaskets.
