Those intakes (fast mid runner = MSD) cant feed SBE LS3s I am not sure why people even bother putting them on big cube motors lol Your going to pick up a solid 50 with the larger plenum intake.

They can feed SBE LS3’s, but the Oem LS3 intake is SO good that the slight increase in power gained isn’t worth the price, which is why MSD didn’t bother. I’m looking forward to seeing results from this new FAST. I’ll have one coming my way, if in fact it picks up like you are saying.

He had a custom billet manifold built too and it failed miserably. He was trying to keep everything under the factory hood and had the MSD from his previous build.
It's on his car now with a Southways 108 TB until I can get some intake testing done to see which one works the best for this particular setup....which will require him to modify the cowl and hood.

It's going to depend on how aggressive your cam is, and if your setup was designed to make peak power around 7000 and above.
The grey car in the first video is Louis G's car from GSpeed, which has the Mamo 265 LS7 heads and the Holley Hi-Ram, and a smaller cam than what is in the red car.
Louis's car also had 1 7/8th headers.
With the high ram and a TB larger than a 102, the car still peaked around 6400...because of the cam.

FYI....the mid length runner should allow me to peak right around 7K....... the calculator says 6920. That's going to be a full 500-600 RPM above both of these cars, and both of these cars are making in excess of 680/620
The short runner would move peak closer to 7500.

Stock LS3 intake is garbage once you do a decent cam. I am not sure why everyone thinks that it is a piece of art (kinda like the LS6 intake for the cathedral mofia) It will literally strangle your motor. Only thing they are good for is modest engines IMO. I had all 3 intakes on my bolt on set up. LS3 rod mod ported gave same results as mid runner fast until 6500 and the fast provided another 25RWHP from there to 7000 but it was still way past what the stock cam could keep up with. I never was able to dyno the X1 as my retainer failed on the dyno the day I was going to test it. X1 felt the best on the car.

I agree. The point I was trying to make was simply the comparison between the stock LS3 vs. a stock FAST. The gains are negligible and certainly not worth the expense.

LOL...no pressure buddy !!!!
Originally I was going to do a coil relocation setup when I was going to run the All Pro's/solid roller setup, to make it easier to do lash adjustments.
I still might move forward with the relocation, but Comp does have a coil bracket setup to attach them , just like my old Katech vc setup

Looks like we will be dynoing in SoCal....hope to nail down the schedule by the end of next week

Who wants to make some educated guesses ?
I really don't care to start another thread in the dyno guessing/bench racing section

Going to run MS109, VP or Torco E85, and E54 AZ pump gas........maybe **** water AZ 91 too, if I feel like cutting it's ballz off for a worse case scenario.

On the car itself, 2" ARH headers running thru a complete Akrapovic EVO Titanium 3" system.
Not sure what will be used on the engine dyno, but it dumps right into an exhaust duct so open headers.
