Which quench would you choose .035 or .041? Also, is quench set cold or warm?

Awesome thanks man. I've been wondering for a while if you could push one that high in rpm that tight on quench!

But also leads me to more questions lol. When it ran better at .042, was there anything different or was it just the difference in going from .035-.042?

If quench is tight because of a need or want ...
Fly cutting for pvc is nothing major. I've been considering .035 and steel rod and get the valve clearances for min to pistons which is I think around 80 thousandths . Sitting out the hole at min 5 thousandths 8 would be better. Rpm range of 7500 1st go around.

Main thing is valve control!!!!! Honestly .037 to .038 would be perfect. knowing Zach will match my want.

Had to get the correct crank scrapper...342f without the windage tray, moroso came with one. Called it in and Jim got it ordered... invoice sent to my email 199.oo + shipping. Dropping off short block maybe this weekend...if I have time, on to Tennessee Saturday. But definitely once I return.. if a # not gotten I'll burn it.. I got real faith.

I was wondering that also. Smokey you might consider a build thread so we can follow your build there

Just will be talking about stuff already purchased....so no thinking or guessing ...or opinions.. not in a bad way.. want to more than some larger higher dollar builds for sure. That's why if not gotten .... Burned! Can keep that money for other work or parts and keep it in the bank. If I'm looking at low 700 yeah I'll burn it ...find another hobby to waste money on.

Just thinking that if you start a build thread , you don't have to go in random threads telling about your parts. Your build thread Is all over tech
