There's always another cylinder head that's better than the set you've actually got.

Still, a little boost on 243 heads is gonna make a whole lot of horsepower.

Running a stock internal ls2 with stock 243 heads with a East Coast supercharger kit on my c6 with LTs and fast 102 intake and my car put 565rwhp at 532rwtq. I’m not trying to be the fastest car around but it’s definitely plenty for a street car.

I have been researching this for my LS2, as well. I have a forged shortblock w/ ported 243's have been going back/forth going either turbo or screw blower. So far, the Whipple has my eye, but a turbo will make more power for sure. IMO, the Whipple is way more reliable if you are going to daily it, like me.

I have a fully built 0 mile ls2 with ported n polished 243 heads for sale in classifieds...just sayn. Set up for boost with ljms stg 2 turbo cam n all the upgrades.
