We aren't to the portion of cam specs yet. I had a TSP stage 2 in my LS3 that seemed to run really nice. Drive-ability was good with good mid-range. I am purposefully staying stock heads/intake to keep the price down with something I can upgrade later down the road.
Stock heads can make great power. Get a rod mod and ported LS3 intake from GPI. You can recoup the cost if you ever sell it, or find one for sale used.
