Then I'd start with a good foundation and go for the biggest NA motor I could afford to build. Most all of the rotating assemblies out there are pretty comparable in price.

think btr cam was used & factory exhaust if I'm not mistaken. 🤫
I went 11.5x in my 2015 Camaro Bolt ons and 10.5x in my 2010 corvette bolt ons. LS3 is a stout piece.

Yup. Don't skimp period, but especially don't skim on internals.

I understand, if you want big, go big! I would not bother w/ an LS3 block, just go straight to a Dart or sleeved block and go big. Otherwise, would just do a valve job, Jack the compression and go solid roller and shred tires.

Your still going to want cubic inches in a N/A roller cam great flowing 370 cfm+ engine. No substitute! Even my 418 Ls2 stroker with cheep gmpp ported ls3 heads and a stock intake is in the high 10's. No expensive roller here! The pricy stuff will be going into the LSX426 ls3.

they sell the ls3 and big bore ls7 heads. No small bore ls7 heads will be sold was what I was told. Will look, what you said was talked about at the PRI show..

I'm now headed to Mast website👍

Bump edit:
$799 as cast each 4.125 bore minimum either ls3 or ls7
