Should I buy the 90mm FAST intake, the LS2, or wait & see what happens w/the LS7? Well, I can get a really good deal on a 90mm FAST LSX intake manifold right now and Im tempted to jump on it. However, I wanted to get some opinions whether I should skip the whole FAST intake all together and go with the LS2 intake, or wait it out and see what happens with the LS7 intake. What do you think I should do? As of right now, Im running the LS6 manifold and my ported and polished factory throttle body. Im not sure just yet what Im going to do with my motor, but sooner than later, Im going to need a bigger intake set up. Let me know, thanks. |
If you can get an LSX 90mm at a sweet price, I say jump on it. I highly doubt the LS2 will be any better (once the results start coming in) and the LS7 intake is probably too far off in the production cycle. You want to run 10s in good air right? Then you need to get what's proven to work NOW. Get the LSX 90mm. If the LS7 winds up making more power in the future, you can sell your LSX for a good price and upgrade. By then, you will already have hit your goal of 10s anyway. |

I will have some track times with my ls2 intake on sunday if the weather holds out. As far as the Kit for the LS2 stuff from SDPC goes, I will be testing some stuff for Kris very soon for this. Brad |
I don't know the Mods on your car, but the factory t-body will support up to about 650-700hp. Also, I don't think the F.A.S.T. 90mm t-body will bolt onto a LS1/6 manifold. My input is to put a factory ported t-body on and save the extra money. |
THe LS7 intake is not compatible with anything other than LS7 heads. Andrew |
Got my lsx 90mm for 730.00 and the tb for 415.00, can't beat that so I jumped on it... |

So this price wasnt offered to just anyone? I know that Speed Engineering is having a sale right now on them and they were PMing the price rather than posting it, but it still wasnt as cheap as what you posted. |
I'd have to kill u too if I divulged my price... Lets just say it CRUSHED BADZ's price ;) |
