Mmmmmm you might be right there. I know GM did that recently, but I haven't seen the pic of it. But, the intake is an LS7, so when I found the pic I thought thats what it may be. But you may be correct, it may be Jay's motor.

I also know that a certain unamed former sponsor of this site built a turbo kit for GM, kind of makes you wonder now doesn't it....

No it doesnt...He had nothing to do with it...Maybe in his dreams.

Incidentally,The name "Blue Devil" was givin to the project to try and "sell" the plan to Rich Wagner and was based on his almamater Duke university. Ironically it made 666hp on the first pull. The pitch was for a twin turbo C5 project that bit the dust.

If you look in the new pictures of the Z06 in the garage, you can see two turbos sitting on the tool box in the background

If GM is still considering a turbo/twin turbo "blue devil" Corvette, my money is on a lower turbo mounting and possible design considerations coming from LPE and their experience with twin turbo C5s(and soon twin turbo C6s, I would guess).

Notice also that the engine in that pic has a standard dipstick unlike the LS7.

Ok, so it is the motor out of Leno's car. Wonder if its an engineering exercise?
