The car is very driveable, I could daily drive it if I wanted.

Sweet. I'm glad to hear the stock injectors are holding up. I was worried mine wouldn't be enough. Do you know what duty cyle they are at? What did the car put down rwhp/rwtq?

I wanted Rapid to build mine but got a Texas Speed.

I am running 42 lb injectors and the duty cycle is 65%. When I got the car from Mikey it put down 527 rwhp and 465 rwtq but I just changed to a solid roller cam and haven't had a chance to redyno it yet.

No those times are with the setup exactly like I got it from Mikey at Rapid Motorsports with a hyd cam. Basically only thing I did with the car since I got it from Mikey was change to a speed density tune and tweak the tune some. Hopefully in a few weeks I will get a chance to dyno my car with the solid roller and get it to the track shortly after. I am hoping for mid 10s this year with full weight (3700 lbs with me in it). I ran my 10.81 @ 130 mph pass with my full interior, all seats, still have a/c, abs, everything.

Wow, congrats. 130 MPH traps NA with a 3700 lb race weight is nuts. Imagine that combo in my car with a 3400 lb race weight. If (when) I get a 402, Mikey will be building it.

Hey John, can't wait to see how the SR runs. I don't think your goals are unrealistic at all. Stay in touch and let me know how it turns out.

These are promising results, I am going to have a 402 built myself after having a problem with my stock bottom end AFR's are on teh bill as well as teh fast 90/90.

Do you think that the 1 7/8 headers are needed, or were you already runnign them? I already have 1 3/4 QTP's and was gonna at least try them to start, and try a cam in the 242/248 rance, maybe a little more lift then you are running.

I think running 1 3/4 headers on a 402 you will gain alittle torque but lose some horsepower up top. My opinion is I would rather have the 1 7/8 headers but the 1 3/4 headers should work ok for you.

I see here later in the post where you clarified that the times were with this hydraulic cam. But what are the specs on your new solid roller? Why the change? Possible valve float?

Tony Mamo talked me into changing to the solid roller. You always want more power and after talking to Tony I thought why not try it. No I really didn't have any problems with floating the valves with the morel hyd lifters. My solid roller cam specs are 254/260 660/666 113+1.

I was thinking of doing a solid roller LSx motor in the future so that's why I ask. Where do you shift at? I've gathered that with the EFI Live you are using, one can make the stock PCM go to 8K.
