Cam for 408?

Okay, this is the list

iron 408
ET performance 240 heads
90/90 set-up
kooks 1 7/8
has every bolt-on
and fuel system
Car in Sig!

Car will be a A4 and spray 200 TNT shot. Car in sig. What size cam would you recommend to be streetable and make awsome power. Wife will drive sometimes!

i'd say a 244-248 on a 112 or 114 lsa, i really like this cam, i dont personally have it, but i driven a couple cars with it, it seems like a real nice middle of the road cam, for power/drivability.

How much power are you putting out on the 408? Do you have the coplete specs on the cam your recommending? What kind of power would I get to the wheels with A4, 12-bolt!!

Call up Ed Curtis and have him grind ya something.

But for off the shelf grinds a 244/248 will work nicely. If you have enough Static compression you could probably run something like a 250/257 on 114 lsa with an X-E style lobe as it would work great with your 3800 stall. Don't know how high you want to shift though.

get ahold of Ed Curtis he is the one doing my cam for my LPE 403, I would say my cam specs are very close to what RyneZ06 mentioned for you i would go big on that 408.
