Well I emailed anyways, I would rather have the better heat withstanding of the -2 setup, if it works the same, then we are in good shape Better to be safe than sorry when a wire gets burnt

The LS2-CSAH(-2) does not come with FG loom and Teflon wire (there is no need for it), only the LS2-KSRH does. The LS2-CSAH(-2) uses TXL wire and 300F Nylon loom.

Which knock sensors do you have to use when using the LS1 ECM on a LS2 engine. I was under the impression the location of the sensors could cause problems ??? Are the sensor terminals different between the two engines? Thanks guys

The sensor terminals are the same. Most dealers we have spoken with use the LS1 sensors and thread them in on both sides of the block.

Jerm you dont need the kit. All i did was extend the cam sensor wire. And im not even running knock sensors in my vette.

Plus you have a drag car.

Racetronix, can you please respond to the above quote. I have purchased your adapter harnesses. Is the wiring for the cam sensor harness correct for the corvette LS1 PCM or do the wires need to be switched???

Mike, how is your car doing without the knock sensors? What kind of negative affects could I experience if I didn't run them on my drag car? What would it take for you computer wise to take care of it on my car?

The PCM can be used with two types of knock sensors, this parameter allows you to select which type of sensor is fitted to the engine.
The standard LS1 sensor is a resonant type, these sensors are connected like so -
Sensor Bank #1 - J1,pin56
Sensor Bank #2 - J1,pin11

If the engine is fitted with flat response sensors (like the LS2 uses), then the connections are like so -
Sensor Bank #1 GND - J1,pin49
Sensor Bank #1 Signal - J1,pin09

Sensor Bank #2 GND - J1,pin50
Sensor Bank #1 Signal - J1,pin10

Only the following values may be entered into this table:
- Resonant (LS1)
- Flat Response (LS2)
Short answer is yes

So do I need to run the knock sensors or not? This will be a drag only car. If I did do away with them, how would I fix it up computer wise. Lastly, will there be any negative affects by doing away with them? Thanks.

You can turn them off with HP Tuners, etc, but if you did have knock it won't detect it and could hurt the motor as you wouldn't know it and the computer couldn't retard the timing in order to compenstate. Your choice.
