Do you have the entire cam doctor file? It could be used with some engine modeling software like Performance Trend Engine Analyzer. |

That is a little baby cam..the car idles a 600 RPM and has no vibration at all..can't even tell it is running..you can use the new Z06 as a around town dailey driver if you want to ..a very docile car till you put your foot in it...now on the other hand put a 254\254 .630\.630 110 LSA in it and watch what happens...that a long with a set of long tubes and a good exhaust system with a custom tune and it makes 640 + HP at the crank all day long... :) |

I knew the cam was small, but I didn't think that intake duration would be so tiny. Lift looks about right for a factory cam though. 120 LSA probably for emissions testing and drivability. I guess GM knew the heads/intake flowed well enough that they didn't really need a larger intake duration to make their goal of 500 hp. |
It kind of reminds me of the CheaTR cam. Thunder didn't lie when they said they mimicked GM's cam design; however, I think the LS7 cam probably isn't as aggressive as the XE lobes or whatever they use. I'm sure just a cam alone would add gobs of power. Some 1 7/8 or 2" inch headers and it'll really scream :drool: |
A few of my customers have dynoed their bone stock C6 Z06 and they are making 455-460 RWHP..so GM is real conservitive on the 505 FWHP..looks like they are making about 535 FWHP give or take a little at the crank. |
remember thats a much bigger motor, 230 is small for that displacement, 210 is almost microscopic |

I imagine the large split is due to the not so good exhaust side of the heads, as we all know the intake side flows like whoa. |
