IMO there are a lot of high HP street cars that could use a bit of low end scrubbed off.
Well, I certainly can give some up, my car is a 100% street car, so I can't get traction below 50mph. But I'm still wondering ABOUT how much power I would lose on the low end. Would it hardly be noticable if you're putting down say 600+ RWHP? Or is it like dog from a dig until the rpm's are way up there?

Just curious before I commit to one of these.

anyone making 600hp n/a should have the gears or the stall to never even see a problem.

Been waiting a long time to hear that.

So Mizfit, when will it be available and what do you want as down payment?

Production won't start till we have 10 orders locked down for the intake/rails we are considering letting you guys use your own rails. We can take the price of the TB's out for now if you want.

Quickin, your comparing apples and oranges. ITB's to single inlet manifolds are 2 diffrent animals. Any time you have a manifold that inhales from a single inlet point, your going to have 1 atmosphere in which all 8 cylinders can breath from. In most cases, that atmosphere isn't sufficent to feed all 8 cylinders. With the ITB's, you have endless atmosphere, therefore you should have no loss of flow if the TB size is correct for the needs of the heads. You also have to look at the cross sectional area of the sheetmetal. Alot of times, the runner size of the manifold is very large, which will cause a loss of port velocity. This is why alot of them are for race applications and cause the 30-50 ft lb loss of TQ in the low-end. Runner legnth also plays into the rpm band. To answer the question, I highly doubt your gunna find a single inlet TB intake that will show you the results of a ITB intake. When it comes down to it, you have to sacrifice on one side or the other. Gain performance with the loss of driveability, to an extent, and save a little money, or Gain performance all over, gain driveability, and empty your wallet. It's the nature of the beast.

Well we have talked it over and we have decided that we will offer the intakes by themselves or with fuel rails. We have decided to drop the TB unless you need one which we can provide. Our Sheet Metal Intake kit will include: 1. The intake built to whichever TB brand, style and size also built to your brand of fuel rails. 2. The Gasket and Hardware Kit. We will need 10 orders and if you would like to lock down a spot we require a 50% deposit.

Option 1.
- Sheet Metal Intake
- Gasket and Hardware

Price $1175

Option 2:
- Sheet Metal Intake
- Gasket and Hardware
- Fuel Rails

Price $ 1255

Just to clarify, this does NOT include a LS7 intake design, correct?

Also, any word whether this will fit under a C5 hood???

This is L92 design only and we have not been able to test it on a vette yet. We have put it in a stock z28 and it just clears.
