The heads will work on an Ls2 block as far as power I can't say for sure becasue it is a small bore so you will be giving up some power due to that.

Cahill93Z28- Thank you. A lot has been going on since then. You will have to swing by so we can get your SS upgraded with some Mizfit stuff.

Mizfit MotorSports, what modifications you did to the LS1 camaro to fit the LS7 top end? wiring harness, intake manifold, throttle body cable, injectors, fuel rails....etc

thanks.

I thought that a 4.1 bore was the minimum for the LS7 heads Because of the valve sizes?

They work fine on 4.100 (I have). They also 'should' work on 4.065...not 100% though.

Anyone heard of Lou Gigliotti?? Just wondering, his personal C6 ZO6 with the G7X4 cam that he designed, and his long tube headers, with a tune put out 630+rwhp. No other mods, stock heads. Cam,LT headers,Tune and that's it. Lou is the man, he did my car. Kept her under 500 rwhp by using the G5X3 cam. LS1 stock bottom ends don't like anything that high.

Not true. First, it was 623 rwhp. Second, the heads were hand ported, on the exhaust side. He also used aftermarket valves. 3rd, he used an electric water pump, along with other mods (pulley? this, that etc)

the heads should work on a 4.065 bore I will double check.

383- We are currently based out of Lawrence, Kansas but may be moving in the near future.

Greg- thank you for clearing some of that stuff up yes Lou's car put down some very impressive numbers but it is not exactly fair to compare an Ls7 crate motor in a z06 which has completely different drivetrain, rearend, wheels/tires, computer etc...

We are very happy with how well this Ls7 top end is and I think it shows in Lou's and our car. I am sorry we are still working on getting the graph up. We have been very busy lately and the scanner sucks, please be patient with us.

Abdullah- I will send you a pm of the various modifications needed to make this work in a f-body.

1 fine 69 and Prostock- Thank you very much for the kind words. I do appreciate the posts.

1 fine 69- It would have been great to see the LS7 in that impecable 69 but you still got a great motor and I want to see some results and video clip of it.

Prostock- give me a call any time if you want to go over your package or whenever you want to get started.

Thanks again guys...

I think the all aluminum block and heads with the 870 carb is a different set up than what a lot of peope are running. Most people go lsx or old school block. I decided it would be cool to combine them! I will definately get a video of it and more pictures. It should be done this weekend. Im taking off from school thursday and friday to finish it! haha. i cant wait to see some projects and engines from mizfit. good luck!

Nice numbers guys. I noticed you were using the UMI throttle body, I was just wondering what thoughts you had on it? Does it seem to be better than the other throttle bodies out there?

What intake set-up do you guys recommend for a set-up like mine. My ET heads are choked down with the LSX90mm intake set-up and it hurt my peak power pretty good. I love the power you guys got! I was hoping for more out of my new 408, but everything shows the intake set-up needs to be changed with these heads. Please let me know your thoughts, car in sig, Thanks!
