What's my CR?

Just ordered some new goodies and was wondering what my CR will be...

Here is my setup:

LS2 (stock bottom end)
ETP 225 Heads
MLS gaskets

Anyone have a clue?

wow. you might have wanted to figure that out before you ordered the parts.

only GUESSING, you will probably be somewhere around 12.5:1 depending on gasket thickness. my 408 with 62cc heads is 12.9:1.

well I ordered all the parts from Ed at FTI... So he has everything all figured out for me :) I trust him WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more than I trust myself...

I highly doubt my motor will have a 12.9:1 CR... that's NUTS!

I am thinking more along the lines of 11:1

Well the stock LS2 heads are a 64cc so going to a 62cc shouldn't push the compression up to 12.9

The 11.1:1 would probably be closer to the truth as long as the head gaskets are the stock thickness (thiner gasket would raise the compression as well).

oh crap. I see where I went wrong! you said STOCK bottom end. I was thinking 402. :bang:

I always think 402 as well. Even while out shopping with the Mrs, or at work etc :)
