Default input on mild cam selection for LS2

I'm looking to do a cam swap in my GTO in a couple weeks.

I've been going back and forth on grind selection and I'd appreciate a little input. I'm looking for MAXIMUM driveability, with no surging on start up, a decent power band with useable low and midrange torque and just enough lope to let you know something is up. (I DON'T want a stock idle, but I don't want a MS4 or T-Rex type lope either)

Basically, I need the car to be in a state where I could jump in it and drive it to Florida tomorrow if I wanted to. (yes, the car will be fully tuned)

the car is a 6-speed and currently makes 366 RWHP/367 RWTQ with just longtubes/exhaust and a tune.

I'm just looking to crack 400 with the cam. I'm not greedy, 400 is the magic number.

How does this sound?

TSP 224 XE (to be paired with comp 918s and chromemoly pushrods)

duration: 224/224
lift: .567/.567
LSA: 113

are all my goals attainable with this cam? i know i COULD go bigger, but I don't want to. I want the most mild grind that will get me to 400RWHP without hurting driveability. also how's my choice of lobe separation? will it give me the sound I want without being a mess to drive?

as much input as possible is appreciated, i'm just about ready to pull the trigger and order the parts.

thanks,

-Mike

Goals are absolutely in reach. I was at 364rwhp on my '05 Vette and swapped for a small cam (intending to run a blower). Grind was 224/228 .581/.588 114lsa (it's a comp cam grind from Lingenfelter, don't think the vendor is a sponsor, but if you want to know, PM me).

Picked up 35rwhp with just cam swap (springs, etc.). Very nice lope at low idle in automatic 700rpm, small amount of shake, and no driveability issues. The increase in power/tq was almost dead even across the band. That cam you mentioned should be about the same thing.

Good luck!

I put down 411rwhp/385rwtq with full exhaust and my baby cam 228/232 .579 .579 112lsa. It makes pretty good power and pulls good up top.

I am going to run a Lingenfelter cam in my 402 stroker, it has 215/231 @ 0.050 .631/644 lift 118 cl. I am hoping to pull some big numbers out of this engine.
