Which Morel/Lunati lifters?

Which Morel/Lunati lifters? I am trying to decide on which lifters to use. There seems to be three different levels of lifters. The "Street" series, the standard series, and the "High RPM" series. My cam specs are 230/254 .644"/.630" on LXL and XE lobes. Spring pressure is 157lbs closed and 471lbs open. My original plan was to use LS7 lifters however due to the 6-bolt setup I am using I must use a link bar lifter.

The street series are not the same as the higher end Morel lifters. The link bar 5206 is the normal Morel link bar and the High Rpm # 5294 is similar but the body is micronited and has tighter valving. We had some of these seize up as even tiny parlicles from dirty oil can cause problems whereas the normal Morel 5206 link bar set does not seem to have that issue. We stock most of the link bar Morels and also the 4708s which use the oem lifter trays like Christian showed you. We usually sell the Morel link bar 5206s for 525.00 and the Hi RPM s5294 for 625.00 when we have them. Lunati also sells both.

Tim, I posted in this https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...lifters-3.html thread looking for a straight answer, I thought I would post it here as well, maybe you (or someone else) can shead some light on this...particulary post 56 on page 3.
How do the 72332/5290's stack up against the LS7 lifters?
ok, so I'm still a little fuzzy on this...
Lunati 72332/Morel 5290 are only good for 6500 RPM's (according to the website)...= $380
LS7 lifters are good for 7k+ = ~$150...
anyone care to explain?
If i can figure out if the Lunati/Morel's are just as good or better than the LS7's at 7k+...I'd rather have them because I can get rid of the lifter tray and have a more reliable lifter...if thats the case. Otherwise, I'm sticking with LS7 lifters.

Assuming one has quality springs and pushrods.... how high can one safely rev the LS7 lifters and the Morel 5206 link bar style?
I have both.... this is for a turbo setup on a built 364ci LS2 with a 1000rwhp goal.
7200rpm shift points are what I'm shooting for.

The main thing here is right lobes paired with right springs and the correct pushrods. The real Morel lifters have better axles and bearings and wheels. The true Morel wheels are .750 in diameter instead of .700 like the street versions and LS7s but if the valvetrain is right all will live a much longer life though for sure.
I don't have the comp trunions but I can get them or drop ship them in a day or two.

I mostly use the link bars on the Warhawk and RHS and of course the LSX since I do not like the way they do the lifter trays. On normal blocks the 4708s are great though. Never had an issue with the oem lifter trays and those lifters ever.
