Default What is needed for LS7 heads and LS7 intake to install in 2003 Z06??

I have 03 Z06 with Cartek H/C, FAST 90, 90mm Tbody, other bolt ons. Looking at possibly a Katech 427 short block and purchasing some ls7 heads and intake. Just trying to weigh my options before deciding. I assume the ls7 intake would need different injectors and fuel rail? I haven't done too much research on the ls7 heads and intake, I thought i read in GM HIgh tech that you could buy the ls7 intake with fuel inj and rails and tbody for a good price??? Or was that the L92 truck intake for those heads?
thanks

Default ls7 katech

thanks for quick reply, I've been looking at the part# list for the ls7 stuff. I have an ls2 90mm dbw tbody already wired up and working. The car runs 11.0's at 127traps driving to track and then back home. I assume the ls7 fuel rail inlet is the same as my stock one?
Do you sell the ls7 heads assembled, if so price? And do you offer any type of porting, or is it really needed? Looking for 550-575rwhp with a cam that will allow descent drivability. any suggestions on a cam you might recommend that you have some experience with?
thanks again

We don't sell LS7 heads. We do have a porting process but it's not absolutely necessary for the cam I'd recommend. Our torquer cam put down 508rwhp on a mustang and a dealer of ours recently measured 557rwhp on a dynojet. The torquer LS7 cam is 220/244 .615/.648 110LSA.

Hope I'm not threadjacking, but what would need to be done to use this cam in a 402 with L92 heads, and would it be a good choice?

LS7 heads WILL NOT WORK on a stock bore LS1.. the valves will hit the cylinder walls.

You are completely right, but he mentioned buying a Katech 427 shortblock. Not sure why he asked if they'll work on an 03 vette since the motor isn't going to be original one.
