Default Just got my LS2 block... now what?

Ok, i just bought my LS2 block! So now i'm stuck with it! Now, i think i'm going to use my LS6 crank from my LS6.

Can someone help me find what size of rods i'm going to need and pistons to leave a stock displacement LS2? I'd stroke it, but i dont want to have to buy another crank.

any ideas... i'm all ears!

4" bore pistons for a 3.62 stroke. I would use either a 6.1 or 6.125 rod.
GOOD LUCK with the build!

Which one is better? 6.100 or 6.125? I think i've seen more 6.125, so it might be easier to find.

um... same throw crank, same sized rods in an LS2 as LS1 and LS6 motors. use your stock connecting rods and put forged 4.00 inch bore pistons in it.

The Scat or Eagle rods will be a good choice on a budget, but I do like the Compstar rods the best for sub-$600 rods as they are LS1-specific 6.125" rods and are extremely nice.

The stock rods ar good up to about 450hp with stock bolts but with arp then can handle a little more. I would spend the money on some h beam rods. I just got done shattering three stock rods and pistons without nitrous. Building motors are exspensive so a good set of pistons and rods are worth the money. Stock cranks sim to handle very well but I don't know how much hp they can handle.

sdpc did have a great deal on some 4.005 pistons with a set of h -beam rods.if any of them had the right c/h you could get an eagle crank and have a fairly cheap rotating asssembly.they might have some for a stock stroke also.i'll look for the link and paste it here if i can find it.
*edit* i can't find it,sorry
