Default L92 pushrod length? 7.400?

Does anyone know the stock length of the L92 pushrods. I would think they are 7.400 like the other LS series motors but wasn't sure. Thanks guys.

they should be the same. the valve angle is the same as well as the basic geometry. although, you should base the length to your needs which may be a little longer or shorter.

Mine were 7.4 but you still need to measure. Base circle, mill, valve job and head gasket will all affect the PR length.

Can you use 7.350 length? SINCE YOU ARE ONLY REALLY PLAYING WITH LIFTER PRELOAD OR IS THIS TOO MUCH TO SHORTEN IT BY?

I have stock LS2 with Kspec2 cam and .030 cut off L92 heads stock L92 Head gaskets and checked mine I don’t rember #s but I used 7.4 stock until my 7.350 arived. 7.350 was closest to center of lifter travel

Keep in mind that often, you'll need longer pushrods than stock. The base circles of cam lobes like XE-R and LSK lobes are quite a bit smaller than stock and require up to .050" longer pushrods to maintain stock plunger depth. Milling and thinner head gaskets will often bring this figure back to a stock dimension, but measuring with everything installed will tell you for sure.

hopefully 7.4's are fine, since I own a set. I assume with L92 heads most wont mill crazy or due LSK lobes... no point really in going with radical ramping rates considering the flow of the head in stock form vs LS6 head.
