Anyone doing 408 Ls2's?

anyone doing it with any luck?

you have to get the block inspected before you do..... going .030 over on a aluminum block is asking for disaster

oh yhea, its getting all done.

my machine shop does hundres of race motors a year. and im meeting him wednesday to see what he thinks. he will mic it all up, check it out, hot tank ect ect ect.
if he says it should work. high compression 408 for this year with a little squeeze on top

8's or bust noyzee? seems like you should be fine as long as the liners are in good shape and dont overdo the nitrous.

no, i tried that last year and it cost me a hole season.
im going to do a motor that hopefully will run 9's na, then hit it soft with a nice plate set up to run 9.50 and run a local class here in mass.

maybe towards the end of the season i will stepp it up a little
