Default Finally get my T.A back w/402ci,L92 heads and l76 intake tomorrow.

Well,Its been 6 months but I get my car back tomorrow. The car is a ws6,m6 w/12bolt w/4.11's the weight is 3,480lbs with OUT me in it. The motor is a 12:0.1 compression 402ci w/ported L92 heads,L76 intake,Kook headers 1 7/8 and a custom grind cam. I WILL give out the cam specs as soon as I get the build sheet. The car will be tuned to drive it,but with a new clutch(spec st3 +) I will not dyno it for two weeks and It is a mustang dyno. My 346ci made 463hp 414tq on this same dyno so,I hope the 402ci will produce 500hp or a touch more. I will up date this tomorrow with the cam specs and head flow #'s. I will then update it with the dyno sheet and I will get it to the track right after the dyno tune for some track times If the weather will let me....I think it should.

I got it back and it drives great. I don't have all the motor info yet(i'll get it when I go back for final tune) I do know the cam is a 248/256 112lob I do not know the lift. In two weeks I'll post back with all info. I also heard FAST is making an intake for the L92 heads,I'll be sure to get that.

FORTEEN3GT-You must read my above post my friend.(lol)I'm only on a bast tune for now.The rev limiter is at 4,800 or something and the timing is at 24deg. I will dyno on November 10th. The car has alot of ***** for the low timing and rev limiter. I will post back with the dyno graph, full cam specs, head flow # and track times.

best way to break it in is either the track or the dyno.... what is up with just the base tune?? I hope you just havent had time to do a full tune.

not to highjack but... I have almost the exact same set up.(02 Z28 402/l92, m6, moser 12bolt w 4.11, kooks 1 7/8, cam 251/255 61x/66x Just got mine back today, 489 rwhp. Power curve is great until 6100 rpm, then it just kinda stops increasing and falls off. It's not valve float, I think it's the intake restriction. I had the same problem with another cam before this one. It made 470 and then fell off at the same rpm. I can't wait until FAST or someone gets a new intake for the L92's. I'll try to post a graph if I can figure it out.

yes, carb intake *** hands down. we'll see what an l92 head/l92 carb intake will do on a 13:1 370 here in a few months. with a moderate cam...ha.

Quick Reply: Finally get my T.A back w/402ci,L92 heads and l76 intake tomorrow.
