TFS 225's on a L92?

Toasted the bottom end on my LS2. I am considering buying a L92 stroker and using my existing heads. What are your thoughts?

Sounds good to me.

not bad at all- they might work better on a 4.035 bore-

Weird story. Went to the gas station, added Stabil and topped it off. Backing it in to my garage to store it for the winter. It started running a bit rough so I gave it a little gas. It reved to 3k and BANG. It rattled like hell and I shut it off. I'll deal with it in the spring. I'm assuming its a rod.

Coincidence??? Do you have any idea why it happened? That really sucks!

Not sure. Maybe it was injured and I didn't know it. Everything was fine until then. Car has 19k on the clock and approx 30 runs on it. Other than the track it doesn't get driven very hard at all.

The 225's will work very well.
Would be a great start to a nice combo.

I filled up at a Shell station one time and the water seperator had defected. Little did I know that I ended up w/ a quart of water in the tank. You might check for water contamination. It makes the motor sound like hell. Mine hydrolocked. Cleared the cylinders and ran the fuel pump w/ the fuel line off to clear the water. I was lucky it didn't hurt the rods since they damage easily to hydrolocking.

I definately think that would be a good combo. The l92 418cid strokers we stock should work very well with that TFS cylinder head. We currently have 4 418cid l92 short-blocks instock & on special!!
