What oil to use!

What oil to use! Hello All,
I've been debating on whether or not to change what type oil I use. I have a 427 LS2 stroker and am currently running 10w30 Royal Purple. I've been noticing that after some spirited runs that my idle pressure drops to about 35 psi. Oil pump is properly fit for max pressure and everything else is good. I'm just wondering if I need some more oil pressures, and if running a racing motor oil would be a good idea.
First thing I'm going to do though is run the truck filter, and hopefully the little added extra oil capacity will help me out.
Or, i was thinking of running Royal Purple Racing 41 oil, or is there another Royal Purple product I should run as well? When looking on their website the only racing oil I was seeing was the XPR racing oils, is this the same thing?
