L92 head parts!!! Sponsers and members, HELP.
Ok guys, im looking for parts to dress my l92s Rockers, valves, .650 lift springs with tit. retainers. I have heard the s.s. valves are to heavy for high rpm but its kinda budget so i cant do titanium. This is a 370 n2o motor that will see about 7000 rpm and i dont want a valve float issue. Sponsors, if you have what i need please reply or PM me... Thanks for any and all help...

I spin 7000 with the stainless valves, the springs are Livernois duals. They are good to .690 lift. 150# seat pressure or so. No valve flaot here so far so good. Thats with GM rockers, comp .080 wall chromemoly pushrods and caddy lifters.

I'm running stock valves with Comp 921's, Trend .110 push rods and YT Ultralight rockers all setup properly. My valve train is extremely stable. Since your going to juice it you'd want the stainless valves but they are heavier.
I'm getting ready to try another cam with a LOT of lift and I'll stick with stock valves but going with PAC 1521 springs - again all setup properly. PAC 1521's a nitrited and good for .700 lift.
My $.02

This is close to what im lookin for , would you run the comps, not the "R" lifters or go with the gm ls7 or caddys. and who has a better price on a spring kit the comps are BAD pricey. im interested in the pac's, livernois, and patriot springs, just need a reliable valvetrain....

Would you run the livernoid kit with the steel retainers????Like i said it on a budget to finish this motor...But if i need tit. with the heavy intake valve that is what i will have to do. The valves will be manley 2.165/1.60 , Stock rockers for now. and prob ls7 lifters or the regular comps.

We've done the Hollow stem valves with pretty good success at 200hp shots, but your starting to get in uncharted territory past that point. How much gas are you going to run? For that rpm & lift you really need a good spring & less valve weight...

I dont want to spin it over 7000 or so and it will see 200-400 of n2o will the hollow stems handle that much? Im thinking i may have to put "too much" spring on it to handle the s.s. valve. In a perfect world i would go tit. intake and inconel exh. but my bankroll is far from perfect What would control the s.s. intake @.620 lift and 7000 rpm?, maybe a good dual spring and tit. retainer? Most of the problem is bouncing off the seat at high rpm correct? Just wondreing if i did a spring that was 160+ on the seat if it would keep it closed instead of a bounce....Then its back to the ??? , will a stock rocker live with that kind of spring press. on the open end of things or should i go for the yella terras? This is starting to be a headache....im not going to buy anything till i nail down some compatable parts....

I have ss valves in mine with stock rockers, patriot duel gold springs, moly rods and caddy lifters and rev it to 7000 rpm. It has seen 7200 a few times by accident without issue.

Are the "heavy SS valves" really any heavier than a typical BBC chevy valve?
edit: according to the Manley online catalog ....BBC valves are "way the f*ck" heavier. Some are well over 150 grams.
If they can be easily controlled with huge cams, The L92 should be a cakewalk.
