Default 402 with high oil pressure blowing out my rear main seal?

new 402 usually runs about 60+ PSI at 2 k RPMS. does the stock crankcase ventilation system need to be changed ?? I was thinking K&N open filters on the valve covers. it is a ported and polished LS6 oil pump not sure the company that did the work but it is a GM modified unit.

crankcase pressure is what will blow oil out your gaskets.
the pcv is best at keeping case pressure lower. imo

Crankcase pressure =\= oil pressure.

Your oil cap would go through the hood if there was 60 psi in the crank case lol. My 408 makes 50-55psi hot idle and I don't have any problems. I run a -10an hose off of one valve cover to a breather behind the driver side foglight. The breather is on top of a catch can to keep as much oil from coming out as possible.

I've had a leak on the backside of my motor for a while, have yet to figure out where it's coming from. All I know, if the whole back of the motor gets wet with oil.

Carb clean after every track trip takes ace of it, this winter when it comes apart I'm gonna find the source of it, that much I can tell you.

I've always had really high oil pressure, but I run a thick oil so it's expected. I'm actually swapping to a slightly thinner oil due to better/less additives, not sure if it's going to make a difference seeing as I change my oil after every track trip regardless how many runs I make, but it's better to change often then not I guess.
