Question looking for upgraded motor for my 01' Z06???

I was thinking about a stroked LS2 motor but will a LS3 or LS7 motor just drop right in with some help??? please guys give me some opinions and prices on anything you guys suggest?

oh and the reason is we think the motor let go on the dyno today while testing the nitrous out? not totally sure but I want to go ahead and prepare for the worst! it did make 510rwhp on a 100 hit but then with the 150 it didn't go well!

Yes the LS3 or Ls7 will drop right in but you will need a few things for the conversion kit such as covers and certain harness extensions.

Our LS2 403 is $4725 and the LS3 416 is $5675. Being a bigger cubic inches the 416 has potential to make a lot more power than the 403. BUT for $4399 we offer an LQ9 418. If I can be of any further assistance please let me know.

Well we dont stock pile short blocks. All our builds are custom and as such take time to complete. I can guaranty a quality build in as short a time as possible dicatated by parts availability.

But I dont like telling a customer this is the perfect engine for you because I have it in stock. I woud rather build it for you with only you and your goals in mind.

My engines are always FI and N2O friendly. We move to a hell fire rings for the extreme and Clevite otherwise.

Tell us more about your build your looking to do. A little info on what you got will help us to recommend a combo that's best for you. We stock approximately 40 short-blocks at one time so I bet we have something like what your looking for. We can still custom build a short-block in approximately 3 weeks if we're doing something off the wall....

We recently finished a 402 ls2 with PRC L92 heads & a smaller camshaft that made something like 530rwhp in a m6 vette with stock mufflers! A combo like that with a little more camshaft has gone past the 550rwhp mark! 550rwhp isn't bad for a n/a setup that takes 250 shots on the weekend!!

Just wondering, will the ls3 harness from GM still require all of the harness extensions?
