Default L92 and patriot golds any problems ?

Anyone running the patriot golds on L92 and having rpm problems ? I have tried a couple things like rechecking pushrod preload its at .020" and at 6500 rpm the engine loses 75hp instantly. All I can think is the valve train weight difference is causing lifter bounce or float ? My cam is a 244/252 comp XER. I am wondering if the added valve weight is causing this. I Ferrea 6000 valves if that helps anyone ?

Did you check your install height? I recenlty installed a set of Patriot's spring kits on a customers set of heads & had to use several different shims to get the install heights all correct. You really could go for something like 1.780" install height in a effort to clear that up. The stainless valves are extremely heavy. We typically try to use a stock valve, or hollow stem valve to fight some of these issues your seeing.
