Default Aluminum LSX Block Poll

If and when GM Performance Parts builds a Aluminum LSX block which would you prefer.

Consider there are other options out there.

Also the tall deck will require a custom intake manifold.

When the time comes I would like to build an aluminum 454 from the LSX block. Not really interested in a heavy iron block.

Tall deck. Its going to be expensive, why not make it light and make big cubes.

For any build that would need the 6 bolt heads, No need for more than 427 cubes for me. I vote for standard deck....

Standard i think is good enough i think, although a 454 would be nice, can you get that in a standard deck?

I say offer both. The higher end guys won't mind the extra $$$ for a custom intake, while the street guys will like being able to use the LSX 92/92 set up

Standard is going to sell. Most people won't spend the money to build a custom intake and headers for the tall deck.

I voted standard for GM to sell the most but I would use a tall deck on my personal car. Btw how are the 6 bolts heads coming along?

i voted standard. there's no need for an aluminum tall deck, as long as there's an iron tall deck in production. anyone that isn't satisfied with an all-aluminum 454 SMALL block, is retarded.

I gotta ask, just in GENERAL...

what is the chance of this happening?

what would the ETA be if it did?

I vote standard deck, but it would be nice to have the option of going to a tall deck for an all out race motor.

I'd like to see some consistancy with the iron block first.

It would also be nice to have a sleeve at at least as long as the LS7.
