Not too sure if this is the place to post this.. as the title states... 408ci w/300 shot of dry nitrous...
my guess would be 6000rpm's???
if anyone has dyno sheets it would be appreciated..
trying to decide if i wanna go carb style intake...
thanks

Interesting -I have installed L76 and LS3 intakes on 402s, 416s, Ls7 427 and 441s and does not seems to matter much. In each case they had ported LS2 or LS3 heads and the 402s seem to peak at ~ 6200 and the rest 6000-6100 rpm. Dyno sheets in front of me. All were 500-560 RWhp and 475-565 RWTQ.

I have a GMPP carb intake on a LS3 headed LS7 with a GA cam. It will rev beyond reason ->7,900 with the unrestricted intake and short runners. The issue with a short runner carb or sheet metal intake is the trade off for torque.
There is no better balanced intake than the factory or after market "plastic" intake in terms of hp/torque ratio, but the above will skew toward hp at what seems to be an almost 1:1 ratio.
