which is beter Cometic or the new GM 5 layer head gasket.

motor will have around 1000 horse and 18psi?

I would use COMETIC myself. I use there stuff alot on N/A and FI motors. Just make sure you prep(clean/correct surface finish 50ra)ALL surfaces well before installation and maybe spray alittle haloymar on them for added sealing and ALL fasters get torqued and cycled properly?

I have the 5-layer GM MLS and it didn't start pushing water until I crossed ~1300 hp and 20-21 psi...but...I have alot of ignition timing

even then, its only pushing a few ounces...

Stock MLS gaskets are some of the best you can get IMO. Jsut make sure you use good head studs to keep everything clamped together.
