I thought 07 c6's were ls3 engines. The things to make either one work in an f-body is very similar. Do a search on user "drain89" he has a great writeup about doing ls3/l92 swaps into f-bodys. I am about to do the same swap into my T/A.

'07's are LS2's. '08's are LS3's.

i think 07 ls2 are alredy 58x, so it will not work with fbody pcm
i know 05 gto ls2 will work in fbody since they are still 24x
possibly 06' c6 ls2 is also 24x, i dont remember right now

If you are going to be putting in an LS2 motor into and f-body car you first need to make sure it has the correct 24x reluctor wheel. Most of your accessories can be carried over but there are a few differences between the blocks. If the motor isn't coming with any covers you will need to make sure you grab a new LS2 style front cover as well as a new LS2 style valley cover. You will need to grab some cam sensor and knock sensor extension harnesses since those sensors are in different places on the new block. You can use your lifters but you have to have 4 new LS2 style lifter tray, as well as an LS2 style timing chain. That should be everything, if you have any more questions feel free to give us a call and we will do our best to help you out!
