2014-2017 silverado / sierra exhaust sizes Does anyone know why the exhaust is bigger on a 6.2L vs 5.3L? A friend of mine had a 2014 Sierra with a 5.3L and had an exhaust on it and he was going to switch it over to his new 2017 Sierra with a 6.2L and the 6.2L exhaust is way bigger 3.5"-4"vs 3". i imagine their is a reason because GM wouldn't put the bigger exhaust on for no reason.
