Replicated camshaft signal I think this same question was asked in another forum thread but in case someone finds this post, I'll provide the same information as I did elsewhere.
A tachometer signal output wire (actually it is a replicated camshaft signal) exists on the E92 ECUs used in the 2014+ L83, L86 and other Gen V GM V8 engines.
On the 2014+ C7 Corvette and the 2016+ Camaro it is on:
Connector X2 (Black)
Pin: 39
Wire color: White
It should be in the same location on the 2014+ direct injection (L83/L86) trucks.
Note - this signal is a replicated camshaft sensor signal so some devices may not be able to read the RPM correctly because of the uneven pulse output per revolution. I can confirm that the Lingenfelter RPM-003 RPM switch along with the NCC-002 nitrous controller and the Micro Storm nitrous controllers can read this RPM signal correctly.

Looking at the ECM pinouts for my 2014 Sierra. No replicated camshaft signal is provided. Looks like it runs through the data lines.
Might have to run can-bus gauges or use a can to analog converter.

2014+ CK truck It exists on the ECM, you just have to enable it in the software using EFILive (and HPTuners probably has it too). You enable the tachometer output signal and then you add a terminal and wire to that pin location on the ECM.
Description to do this is in our RPM-003 RPM switch instructions and in our NCC-002 nitrous controller instructions on our web site.
Otherwise you can use our CAN2-002 module to convert the CAN based RPM signal to an analog output (frequency type output).
