Default Gen V L83 LT1 part interchange questions

I have an L83 for a project and need to change a few things. Need to shrink the height and width a bit. Will the LT1 intake manifold bolt up? Does the L83 throttle body bolt up to an LT1 mani? Also, it looks like the stock camaro LT1 exhaust manifolds would bolt up and are tubular ? Would prefer these so I can modify them. The L83 manifolds are cast.

Ok thanks. I have the intake mani and headers lined up to buy. Where would I find a cheap takeoff lt1 pan? Ebay has none. Do I need to run an oil cooler or can I just block it off?

I used a brand new Camaro SS pan. The truck pan wouldn't clear my 72 El Camino. The Camaro SS pan fit with a little notch on the K-member. When I had mine installed last year, there was no block off plate for the Camaro pan available, so I was forced to use the oil cooler.

Also, depending on what air intake you use and radiator spacing, you might need this
https://www.holley.com/products/ls_p...s/parts/717-15

It straightens out the angle the throttle body so it's straight. Without it, it's angled either up (truck manifold) or down (car manifold). Since I used a car manifold, it angled the TB down, which caused interference of the cold air intake tube with my radiator hose.

Im putting this in a Solstice. Ill figure out the tb angle after its in the car. Space will be extremely limited Im guessing. So the oil cooler block off plates... Are these engines fine to run without one?

Im going to pop the pan off soon. I have never seen the inside of one... wondering if I can remove the extra steel pan the trucks use and put a flat piece of AL there. If I did that, itd be about 5.75" deep instead of 8.5" Guessing Id have to shorten the pickup. Im hoping this will drop right behind the steering rack then I can just notch the cross member. Ill surely need a pan if it has to sit above it because the truck pan is pretty tall in the front.

The 5.3 throttle body DOES NOT bolt to the 6.2 intake. The 6.2 TBs are larger.

I should have followed up. The LT1 headers bolt up fine. The LT1 intake manifold bolts up fine. The L83 throttle body bolt pattern is different from the LT1 so I just got an LT1 tb.
