Default 94 LT1 Trans Am o2 Simulators

I was doing some searching around the website and have found contradicting posts. I would like to put in o2 simulators in my 94 Trans Am but some people are saying in the 94,simulators do not work and you must use the O2 sensors. Can someone confirm this?

First, this is the Gen V LT1 tech (2014+ Corvette, 2016+ Camaro, etc). This sub-forum would be the appropriate place to post LT1/LT4 (92-96 Corvette, 93-97 F-Body) relevant questions. As for using O2 sims on your 94, why? Your 94 is an OBD1 car, you only have two and they are before the cat. You can run straight exhaust and do all sorts of stuff and you don't have to worry about SES lights, or tuning, or anything. You need the front O2 sensors to get the proper fuel mixture for combustion. Tricking the ECU into thinking the front O2 is reading "XX" when really needs "YY" will cause performance issues. Leave your O2 sensors alone.
