So far I've done an AFE intake and Borla exhaust. Trying to figure out what else can be done with the Z06 without needing to tune it.

Honestly. When you slapped the cai on there, it would've been best to tune it then. You're not benefiting much by wasting your money there. Just made the car a little louder is all.

If you want to preserve the warranty, then leave it alone.

What part of keeping the tune did you miss in his first post. That is 100% guaranteed to kill his warranty should he experience a big failure and GM goes investigating.

As far as other mods...not much else guy...maybe a slightly smaller pulley. Although boost changes usually require a tune, I imagine the stock tune is super conservative and can handle an extra psi or two without needing to be changed.

^^^ This guy. That was understood. I was just pointing out the fact he wasted his money on a cold air intake of he wasn't going to have a tune. Calm down dude.

Intake and exhaust is about it as far as performance mods go.

You could lower it or put different wheels on it, but I don't see the need on a new Z06.

+1 for wash and wax!

Change the rear gears too.

Also, a small progressive nitrous shot....Like maybe 75 HP shot. No way a bunch of morons at a dealership will ever know the engine was sprayed. No damn way.....

i wouldnt put it past ecm designers to have a record somewhere in the puter which shows the load data that exceeds oem specs. my onstar has a record of hard braking and hard acceleration data file. soo you should check your info before blowing your warrantee and motor

What to do to preserve warranty???? INSTALL NITROUS!!!

And then what? Rip the bottle, bracket, lines, plate and wiring out if something goes wrong? Or every time he goes for service if he does?

Possible to get an additional computer? It's not hard to swap those. Assuming yo u can get to them on these cars.
