Whats the bore size? I have two .040 thick x 4.160 bore gaskets that I couldnt use because my squish was too tight. I had to end up going with .055 thick cometics.

I believe the stock bore on a 2002 LS6 block is 4.00". Are stock 4" stock gaskets also 4.160"?

Thanks for the bore & website info.. I had called the vendor for my area who told me 3 days to make & shipping time on top of that, so I passed. Will try some others on that site if gaskets don't appear soon.

ROCNDAV, thanks again & I appreciate the offer. Looks like they are a little big.

Default Cometic Source

I believe that Scogin-Dickey in Texas is stocking the .040 Cometic for the standard bore LS-1.

Bought .045" Cometics from SDPC this morning. .040" Cometics are a rare item these days it seems. Anyone in need, the .045" Cometics are available @ Scoggin-Dickey.
