Hi Guys and Girls.
An update again, it's not long now and it'll be in the ute, have had the heads cnc ported by Nathan Higgins here in Australia, and he has supplied the springs to suit the .700" lift, we have also shaved the heads slightly to make the compression 11.5:1 instead of the 11:1, this should help with the goal of 600rwhp.
I am hoping to have some more photos soon to post up, once they come through I'll put them straight up, hopefully they'll be of it going into the ute.
Stay tuned, as there will be videos also of it on the dyno with the final read out figures for it.

i sold my low 9 sec chevelle with a solid roller 468 and 300 shot to pay off bills back in 2008. i agree with you about the power part but the streetability was ****. constantly having to adjust valves etc sucked. i enjoy my GTO way more than the velle and more imortantly, anytime i want

Sorry Guys it has been a while since I last posted an update,
Here it is, engine is in the ute, the build has just about finished, changed a few things on the run so had a few delays, but it is almost over. Don't have any photo's of it in the ute, but they're coming.
Upgraded the brakes while I was at it, went for:
380mm front rotors with 8 piston calipers
355mm rear rotors with 6 piston calipers
interior being fixed after second harness went in, double row timing chain being added too, CAPA fuel system, harrop coil relocation kit being used and an aussie desert radiator with 2x14" thermo fans going in.
Once in and have some photo's and vids, I will post them up too.
Here is what I have now though.
Stay tuned as it wont be long till more pics and vids come through.

Glad to hear yours is back on the road, had some issues with a couple of parts, took a couple of weeks to get the flywheel, the brakes are still on their way, and the radiator should be there by now, so not long and it'll be running.
Atleast it is in the ute now, and getting closer to being done. I am hpoing that it will be done by the time I get back next month. It should be finished.
Once done I will post the dyno sheets and hopefully some vids of it.
They will sound grumpy, and the noise from them will definately turn heads, mine is going into the Townsville 400 Beaut Aussie Ute show at the V8's, be about time to show the thing off.
Wonder if there will be any difference in sound compared to the 2, with the 2 different styles of exhaust. It will be interesting to see.
