Default What does a C4B equipped Monaro do in the 1/4" mile?

stock, tuned or lightly modified?

I like the factory specs and wondered what kind of performance they can do.

My best mates VX GTS ran a 13.2 @104mph dead stock. M6 with factory 3.9 rear ratio. All C4B's released here with an M6 has a 3.9 rear as opposed to all the other M6's LS equipped cars that recieved either a 3.45 or 3.73 rear end.

He modified it with 1 7/8 headers, twin 3" exhaust, otr and cam...unsure if he milled the heads or not but definitely were not ported and he ran a 12.4 @ 116mph. Not bad for an M6 on stock suspension and he was on Bridgestone Re001 17" tyres we lowered to 24psi. This was back in 2010.

Thanks.
I liked the cam profile if it were a bit tighter on the LSA/ICL. Went similar here. Not exact.
